
INSPIRING & CHALLENGING PEOPLE TOWARD JUSTICE & JESUS Pastor Mia Shin has a passion to reach this generation with the authentic person of Christ. She empowers people to influence their current community and impact eternity. Her 20 years of ministry include preaching, teaching, and mentoring in the Asian-American and multi-ethnic church contexts as well as in public high school and college settings. She received her M.Div from Talbot Theological Seminary at Biola and is a proud to take part in a national cohort of national cohort of Asian American women pastors and leaders. She is a member fo the Khora Collective Founder's Circle, where Asian Americans Christians become leaders who use their power for good. Her community life outside church walls -- in her role as Co-Founder and Executive Director of AAPI SLO and Pastor of a new church plant -- exemplify her priority of holistic, community-centered faith. Pastor Mia’s husband of 25 years and their two sons lovingly support her ministries. In her spare time you will find her writing songs, singing her heart out, rock climbing, and having coffee outings with friends.
